Not a true Floridian, really
So....I feel like a stranger now, but it's okay. I have been down here for a while now, and I am so homesick, but I am safe to say that I am going to be home eventually. I hope prom was a blast for everyone that went, I heard it was for a few people and not so good for others but either way, there is always next year for most lol. Anyhoo, Jay High...whew...something good to say...something...something...yeah okay, nice teachers, there we go, something positive. Catch my drift? I heard the chorus concert was so so so much better than everyone thought it would be. Personally, I thought that it was going to be a disaster, so I am glad it went well. I have met a few people I can tolerate down here, and for that I am so thankful. One person is a girl named Anna, she is cool and we have quite a few things in common, but go figure, she isn't from Jay. And then there is Jesse, this guy that I met that I have a whole lot in common with, wow, go figure, he isn't from Jay either, hahaha. I thought North Carolina was southern, but these people have their own special language or something, it's nuts. And the farmers drive lawn mowers on the road like they are regular vehicles, along with things these guys build randomly just to give them something to do. The schools down here though have never even heard of AP classes, not that it really surprises me any. I am in a school of approx. 500 kids, 7-12, crazy huh? I think so too! And then K-12 is in the same facility, everyone has the same lunch, and I have yet to see anyone other than white on the boundries of Jay. Which is quite sad, but oh well, what can I do. Anyhoo, onto better things! I might go to Spring Fest on a 3 day tour, yep yep! Because no one knows what that is, let me tell ya. Local bands, big bands, so many freaking bands! Trapt is playing, Papa Roach, Lit, Theory of a Deadman, Everclear, and so many more. I can't wait I want to go so bad. Anyhoo, I have babbled enough, I am done. I have a 3 week research paper I have to start working on that is due tomorrow (And don't worry, no, my grades aren't slipping) I do teach a Kindergarden class though, it's so fun!! Haha, I miss you people and love you too. Later. (happy now, eh?)
